My short plastic petrol boat also has electric power with 440AH battery and 400W of solar for when the sun is shining.
I find one of those mini thermoelectric coolers keeps the beer cool, but I prefer to keep the milk, butter and cheese in there.

Speaking of vaporising fuel oils would it be possible to cool beer down by chucking petrol over it (unopened can or bottle) and allowing it to evaporate?
Just an idea for a petrol powered vessel.

For proper beer (bitter) it's best served around cellar temperature of 12°C which should be quite achievable without a fridge at this time of year - brrrr! Can't say that drinking l*ger appeals to me at this time of year - are you thinking ahead to summer when a cold one goes down a treat? Agree, Lots of pubs sell beer that is far to cold. The bottles beer on our boat is never in the fridge.
