Actually Tony that gives me another thought. Does the shower have a mixer where the pipe joints are behind the wall ? if so can you get to them to inspect ? This kind of thing That is exactly the kind of shower mixer we have - have you had a peek? I will check that as well

The one thing that no-one has suggested yet as far as I can see is the possibility of the shower water getting behind the wall panel, running down the back of it and dripping into the bilge. Are there any joins in the wall panels? How about where they meet the upturned flooring? A wet room can leak from anywhere, not just at floor level. Just a thought. Tony I will check this as well - the wet room looked so pretty when I bought her but I do wish I had gone for a shower cubicle now lol. It will be pretty again once I have sorted this out.

Mischief, I'm presuming the toilet is in the wetroom, is it fixed or a cassette, and if it is a cassette, does it sit on a plinth to raise it's height? If so, you may find the shower pump beneath that plinth. Thanks Iconoclast, it is a pump out toilet but....I have found a pump under the kitchen sink near to the bathroom door - I am going to check to see if that is the pump for the shower. I can't see what else it could be pumping to be honest. This is beginning to feel like quite an investigation! I am glad I asked here and didn't just go straight into ripping the floor up as I will never get it looking that good again.

That almost certainly will be the shower pump, I'd turn it on, run the shower and see what happens, and particularly check that water is being ejected from the side of the boat as it should be.

It may be possible to pour a known quantity of water into the shower, and measure what is pumped back back out again. Don't fall in the canal though, its a bit chilly at the mo.

Not so much chilly as frozen solid first thing this morning! Hopefully it will have warmed up a little by the weekend.

For the record I've found a leak so it wasn't condensation after all. Shurflo pump inlet side has a filter screwed onto it which is either cracked or leaking from it's join with the pump. Cracked looks most likely but either way as it has to come off I'll fit a new one.
Then I'll dare look under the bed (downhill from the leak), there's heaps more plumbing there and perhaps more leaks, but maybe not - I think it's all pressurised in that direction and the pump doesn't go off on it's own.

Excellent news, persistence has paid off for you. I hope to soon be able to post my own success story. First I am going to try the other suggestions then try to find a way underneath the floor.

Well, have we been having fun. Lots of searching and tightening up loose plumbing connections have led to us discovering that the shureflo pump is leaking. Hubby has given it a service and all is looking good right now. At least until the new one arrives. We have got as much water out as we can and have dehumidifiers going. Here's hoping this is the answer. I hope so.
In other news, the bilge pump packed up today.....

Then I'll dare look under the bed (downhill from the leak) I don't know if all boats are the same, but mine has a sump beneath the galley and wet room so any leaks from the most likely places can't make its way into the main hull area.

Looking for very small leaks/drips, put dry kitchen towel/bog roll in the area, the slightest drip shows up.

Plumbing is my current nightmare. Until the new pump arrives I don't know if the leak problem is sorted out or if the pump is just one of the issues <sigh>. Electric problems my husband can sort out no problem but plumbing holds no interest for him. The 'refurbished' pump is working, in that it makes the normal noise and water comes out of the tanks but......the calorifier isn't filling up so the pump isn't stopping. Is this a new problem or is it connected to the pump not being as good as it should be? Anyone want a second hand boat - lovely she is lol!
