What I'm trying to say is that facts don't steer policy. Political policy looks for and promotes facts that underpin it.
Donald is simply not bothering with the fact bit and as such, to me, looks honest in this hugely important expose.

Herewith a joke memo doing the rounds.
Memorandum from: H.R.H. Prince Philip
To: Boris Johnson – Secretary of State
Dear Boris,
How are things you mad haired old bugger?
I’m just tipping you the wink that Liz is in a pretty foul mood after being told we’d have to roll the red carpet out for this Trump character. Well she was in a foul mood earlier but she’s just gone to bed looking rather glum, we still can’t fathom how this odious oik could become leader of the free world.
It really is too much but I suppose it’s all part of the job! We need to try to plan for all circumstances to ensure that this Lothario doesn’t cause as many problems as he otherwise might. First order of the day is hiding / disinviting all the attractive breeding stock or making sure that they’re very well chaperoned. Wills will have to shadow Kate all night and we might have to hide some of the other pretty fillies. We’ve got Anne down as a ‘borderline boiler’, perhaps after a couple of bottles of Moet et Chandon he’d have a go. I think probably the only one of the women-folk who’s bound to be safe around Dirty Donny is Camel face, Christ alive who’d bang that?!
I said I don’t think we’ll need to waste the good stuff like Moet on them, they won’t tell the difference if we order some stuff in from Lidl.
If push comes to shove you and I will have to take him out and about in Soho. If we bump into any press you can just do your gormless confused act, it usually works and I’ll just say something about slitty eyes and Indians to throw them off the scent. From Trump’s point of view the Press could photograph him nuts deep in a pro and he’d just do the usual trick of claiming it’s all a lie & a conspiracy.
We’ll need to keep an eye on our own as well, I’d hate to think of the diplomatic incident we’d have if Andy or Harry slipped the First Lady a large portion! (If I were 40 years younger I think I might be tempted).
We’re going to be a bit stumped on what to feed them, Zara suggested Big Mac with fries, whatever that is? He’s half Scottish and half German so we could always try haggis with sauerkraut! We’re going to double-count the silver this time round, Liz swears we were about a dozen spoons down after the last lot visited.
We don’t know if he’s going to do an overnight at Buck House but if he is we’ll make sure that the beds have rubber covers just in case he wants to get up to any of that golden showers nonsense, (Liz still thinks that there’s real gold involved, I haven’t the nerve to tell her what it actually is!)
Princess Edward did come up with a good idea, perhaps Charles could have a word with him and try to alter his views on climate change. I tried to mention it to him but the jug-eared cretin was too busy chatting with some daffodils.
And fair warning; if he says anything about Windsor Great Park making a nice golf course, diplomatic incident or not, he’s going to get a biff in the kisser even if I am 95!!
I have to get off now as I’m up early for a peasant shoot, (and no I didn’t miss the ‘h’ out). I’ll catch up with you at the next palace beano!
Ciao
Phil

So now we have all this hoo-ha about people from seven Muslim countries not being admitted into the US. Funny how nobody mentions that sixteen Muslim countries forbid admission to Israel passport holders and have done for decades. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Israeli_passportI've known British passport holders who have been refused entry into Muslim countries simply for having an Israeli stamp in their passport. Sauce for the goose?

But no American civilian has been killed by a national of any of the banned countries. Visitors from Saudi are still allowed entry, despite 9/11.

You mean like this?: www.cruisersforum.com/forums/f80/grrrr-brexit-168398.html" Brexit happens. (or not) "overwhelmingly Britain votes to go!" er 2.something percent I believe was the difference.... So, apart from being short sighted, stupid and emotional, my costs will rise, my ability to travel will be curtailed and in general Britain will lose its favourable trading base..."

well, our masters have voted overwhelmingly to trigger article 50 so looks like Theresa plan of early march is a go go. All thats left is to see what sort of lame brexit parliament will agree to.
I'm guessing Jezza Corbyn wont be taking any action against his 47 MP's who ignored the 3 line whip.

I was talking to some one yesterday who had just returned from a month in the good ole U S A and she told me people refused to discuss Trump....they just didn't wanna involve themselves in talking about their new President...guess maybe a bury your head in sand attitude for some

Diane Abbott was too ill to vote, I read. I wonder if she was too ill to accept her salary? Are you really sick, Diane?
