the old GS500E suzuki was useful little thing, 170kg dry weight. Finish was a bit suspect though.

You get bored of having the shit shook out of you Best bet is to bolt them in a a motox/enduro sidecar, everything rattles and shakes so the engine just blends into the background. Good tip I didn't consider that. My ideal carriage would be a diy electric bike capable of 25mph but unfortunately they are illegal and as I have a driving license it is a bit too risky as you can get points. If you're scared of losing points of your drivers license with the diy electric bike, maybe this Wind powered bike would be a good alternative for you, I think it's Worth giving it a try.

There are many different brands that make Honda C90 clones, but the real Honda's are the best, and also the most expensive, but will surely last longer, so it may be better to pay the price once and forget about endless stuff breaking down on many of the "el cheapo's".

My iron horse coming up to 100k miles in 10 years still luvved up. Too big for anything less than a roro ferry tho!!! That Sir, is a seriously loaded bike View AttachmentOi....I'll have you know that's only a 100 litre drybag on the back carrying tent, awning, sleeping bag and mattress, the tank side bags carry food and stove and the tank top bag me clothes and charging stuff. Winter camping near Plymouth in December. ''Twas heaven. Mind you this photo does make her arse look big

I've had some hard working BMW bikes too a R60/2 with Earles front suspension (lovely bike) a K100RT, a R1050RT and my last one sold 8 years ago a K75RT which I prefered to the K100, less vibrations with the 3cylinder and a very smooth ride.
I'm sad to say, no more motorbikes for me anymore, but I'm still enjoying seeing nice bikes.
Peter.
R1150gs, returns mpg 44 on average, fuel economy is not high on my want list, she'll burrrrrp past most stuff clogging the roads Sounds corny but going for a 300 mile pootle on shitty back roads is therapeutic to me. Forget everything but the road and the handling is sublime. Anyway these things aren't about speed, and I'm too big for most of the 'power ranger stuff' and I'm quite happy to ride until the tanks empty without having to stop and 'recover' Ref the k75 3 cylinder spec, totally agree unmolested standard bikes will become classic as the engine is brilliant - if I had the space I'd have one..built before bmw had their bean counters running the place.

How about a LIT C1 two wheel electric car? Self balancing with gyroscopes so it stands up by itself.
Looks like a pretty cool motorbike/car hybrid.
Looks like it even comes with a woman included !
