I still think there should be a cull of all those on the members list who haven't contributed. It's so fake. I mean, are they actively reading Thunderboat, or just signed in and gone forever? I'm thinking there could be an enormous surge of genuine members anytime soon; one day it may just 'catch' and spread like wildfire. I'm sure there are many people of Britain's 65 million inhabitants who would be happy to stumble into these threads if only they knew about them.

Yesterday there were more guest readers than members in total. I suppose some are people just not logging in and others must be cwdf members who say they don't come here but are secretly jealous. It seems 90 -100 members are regularly on here. I've noticed a pick up on posts from people who haven't posted before in the last few days. Do we have a new to boating section to encourage that first post.

Welcome jollyjacktar, its not as bad as it looks, one or two cant get on with each other but leave them alone in the naught corner and all is good I remember from the old days back in the early 90`s i read numerous time about a 17 foot boat called a Jack Tar. Looked a cracking boat but to wee a lad to have one. Not seen one since and googled for it but nothing has come of it. I remember the article saying it was a great sea worthy boat but a little heavy for its size. I may well have to buy all the Sea Angler mags and look through

Looks like he or she is armless enough anyway. Well otherwise, they'd probably have posted by now! Using computers when you have no arms is tricky.
