When contractors threw their cuttings in the canal last November just before the BCNS end of season rally I complained to the regional office and the contractors were back the next day to rake it out.

Bottom of atherstone'5' they have chopped a load of off side crap down, dragged it onto the visitors moorings and chained it to a ring! I have pics but still struggling to get them on imgur on my mobile, will try later, just made me chuckle, I'm all up for clearing it from the offside but at least leave the mooring open!

Assuming you are using a "smartphone" then if you tap on the "desktop" text at bottom of page it should bring up the desktop version of the forum (yes!) Which has the option to add attachments directly to posts. It works on my rather old android phone.

Came down Hatton today, and there was loads of debris floating about. I believe it's the flotsam from Doris and a windy weekend, but it does gather around the locks and by washes. Looked like coleslaw Rog
