Talking of being over 90, some of you may remember at Christmas I had a contact via Thunderboat, and then by e-mails, from a man who had spotted a photo I had put up on Thunderboat of my dad in Ceylon, a group of Fleet Air Arm between two Spitfires. He has written to me his memories of that Squadron and the camp, and he said he had a similar photo (he is in the first photo also); yesterday I opened a letter from Australia and he has sent that other photo and an enlarged copy of it. It seems funny to be reading about where my dad was around 1945-46, and from someone on the same military base. My dad died in 1979 (run over by a stupid woman in a car).
As I've said, over 50 we're on 'borrowed time' so should make the most of every day. People keep thinking of 'the future' but we're already in it!
