I don't do ill and if I do, I man up. I've had one day off work sick in 16 years but even that was because I was hospitalised. In my case no days off sick from school or work between the age of 14 and retirement, except when I was shot and hospitalised. (PS silly forum software won't let me write this outside BFG's box)

Each to their own but swmbo & I took her father for a birthday treat to The Fleece a few years ago. We found the staff to be rude and supercilious with many of the patrons loud and arrogant. The food was overpriced and of average quality. We decided very quickly never to return. I haven't been there but it looked nice from the photo, so it was just a 'general scenery of that area' pic. And - oh dear - these people have to spoil everything, don't they: www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-4344284/Twenty-seven-men-charged-dozens-sex-offences.html

don't go to Nigeria, and if you do make sure there's a medivac Learjet staffed by 2 doctors and 2 paramedics waiting on the tarmac nearby.

very.
my chest x-ray looks like a spoilt piece of photographic film - covered in white spots. 6 in the heart, about 30 in the lungs.

Cold for me, Now a Hollands Meat Pie, that has to be hot with the juices dribbling down your chin Whenever, as kids, we were in the car driving through Baxenden, our dad told us to watch out for dogs, we never saw any, nor have I since! The Holland pie factory is in Baxenden, Nr Haslingden. Just saying.... Lovely tasting dogs in Baxenden. I remember my dad would walk out of a chippy if they didnt sell Hollands pies.
