While yotting along the Regents canal east to west today I spotted a couple of giggleworthy boat names. There are lots of funny names about and some quite offensive ones. The worst one I have seen was a nasty sealine gin palace called "up yaws". Amyway these are nicer: Attachments:

Irrelevance is not a bad name ....... better than some of the more spew making names you come across.
(it actually reminds me of Everards ....ity names Sobriety Agility Audacity Sincerity ....... they even had a tender called Hillarity)

I named one of my narrow boats Inflexible and my dinghy is registered with the EA as Indomitable. Battle cruiser class I had a narrow boat called Tiger (another battle cruiser) as well but that name was given by a previous owner. I thought Irrelevance was an amusing play on traditional boat names.
