What do you mean by you can't post the link? If you click on 'insert picture' and put the URL of the image it should work. Imgur.com is the best image host to use.

Flikr is pretty crap. You might be posting the link to the flikr page the image is on instead of the direct image URL. Try Imgur, it is much easier to use and will give you the forum embed code in the sidebar.

I think your right, when I haven't copied a url from Flickr clicking on insert picture lets me paste url. When I've copied an url from Flickr it won't let me paste it. Oh well off to sign my privacy away to another Internet company.

I use Google Drive to store (backup) my photos. I have just turned link sharing on for one if the photos and pasting the link here to see if it works. drive.google.com/open?id=12ytVpKztysUNeywBKnF3LjTlzWQt_gGLdQYou can store up to 15Gb for free. I suppose it's better to be able to embed photos in posts though rather than just posing links.o

I don't know I've given up at the moment. Posting using imgr definitely works. You just copy and paste the BBCode link directly into a post. You don't even have to use the 'insert image' button as doing it this way eliminates the need to add the 'tags' that make it display properly. But doing it from a phone adds a complication because I don't think you can add the link by just touching it. There is an imgr app but I haven't found it very user friendly.

Don't know if thats your own 4x4 and caravan Martin, that is some length to manoeuvre.I don't believe I could relax driving that.
