Had an email about it. You can chose which waterways you get stoppage alerts for.

Not when you're driving the boat and there's no phone signal / mobile data signal.
Is it on their stoppages notices now?
And why can't they fix it on a Sunday?
Can boaters claim compensation for delays and stoppages as with Passenger Rights for trains and planes? If not why not?

What 'damage'? A local boater told us the sensor stick has been on the blink for ages. And lock closed for two weeks last time. Who will dare to tell the truth? (No-one, as they're scared of reprisals).

They had divers at woodelsford lock earlier in the year, whilst speaking to the bank staff, I was told that they have a problem on these locks with the bar that connects the sluice gate to the arm that raises it. Where it connects to the sluice is vulnerable. I don't know if this is the present problem, but it seems an inherent problem. If only one sluice is bust you could by pass it

Johny makes a lovely shell I should know mine is one, I was chatting to him today he says he could sell every shell they make to punters but they now just make them for Finesse, Tim makes the ones for the punters and other boat fitters. I have a couple of pictures on my fone I will download them and post its some detail work on a sheffield size lovely stuff shame to paint them really
