This country in the majority, took a brave decision to exit the EU, The meek, the fearful and most of all the self interested will never be able to accept that. They can rant and rave all they like, it will not make one iota of difference. The decision to leave is made. The only danger is that we now have to ask our elected politicians to make a decent job of the exit process.
Rees Mogg for PM I say!!

You make the case for allowing all our elected representatives to have a final say very compelling!

I'm going off corbyn and labour. Apart from the fact they make statements that they never explain, I feel their core base of supporters are pc, and worst than the bloody lib dems. The country needs a new party that floats somewhere around the middle ground.

What we have now
Conservative Labour Liberal Other
Its always pretty much a foregone conclusion who is going to win.
It won't be anyone other than the top 3. It'll never happen without direct action. And CRT will continue to exist which is awful.
What is needed is a ThunderBoat overthrow of the government but it needs large numbers of coordinated professionals armed to the teeth with something other than written words on a screen.
Bolt cutters, angle grinders, mobile phones and floating steel boxes won't really do the job.
Does anyone on here have access to explosives? PM is okay if you don't want it to be on a public forum. Maybe some large threatening Bowie knives could be useful for close quarters combat.
Guns?
Hackers like d9 will obviously be very useful to disrupt the IT systems.
We need a revolution and we need it in 2017.

A Thunderboat Government, there’s an idea, don’t mind how good or bad they are, at least all that PC crap will disappear. Would make Question Time a lot more interesting! although that nice Mr Dimbleby might end up with a heart attack.

I think a bit of straight talking and a real shake up of the political system wouldn't be a bad idea.

I think a bit of straight talking and a real shake up of the political system wouldn't be a bad idea. Straight talking politicians?.....now that'd be novel...no lies, no false promises.....country's never gonna be ready for that

Mandatory voting makes it harder for loonies to get in power, most people wouldn't spoil their paper but would vote in the middle ground. There would be a fine if you don't vote.

Back to the original post, I'm glad he has quit. What sort of person is he that he would say "A responsible government would be leading the British people to stay in Europe" WTF!
Thank fuck he isn't in Government, that statement alone shows how out of touch he is.

As my dad used to say, the average person chooses to be too poorly informed to vote wisely. Just look at the number of people that believed the £350M for the nhs lie.

Mandatory voting makes it harder for loonies to get in power, most people wouldn't spoil their paper but would vote in the middle ground. There would be a fine if you don't vote. Being 'middle' all the time of everything leads to stagnation. The fear of poverty, starvation, torture and horrible death makes people inventive and 'willing' to get out of their beds in the mornings for the day ahead. Much of what we have today has a long history of suffering in its past. The owners of the canals in the days when they were commercial enterprises certainly weren't concerned with the welfare of their workers, let alone for those who dug them. If you stop swimming the sharks will get ya!

Is this an attempt to ridicule leavers by fabricating evidence? Desperate stuff! Some people may have actually believed it, but that does not mean it was even a minor part of most people's decisions. In reality the eu and successive uk governments have never worked together and have let down an enormous section of society to the benefit of the so-called intelligent. This supposedly intelligent contingent likes to blame an imaginary "feckless free loading" underclass for it's own problems, a situation that has not changed much for over 100 years. When all the ruling elite of the establishment, from big business to all main political parties lined up to recommend the status quo, and bearing in mind the mess of their lives elected politicians of all shades have deliberately made for generations, a great deal of people saw their chance to throw a spanner in the works. After all, they had nothing to loose other than continuation of a shite system that paints poor hard working people as a problem, despite them being the ones doing all of the useful work.

Absolutely not. I was just making the point that a lot of lies were told by both sides which I also blame people like the BBC for failing to demonstrate that it was not true. Out of interest, what evidence do you feel I am fabricating???
