Well, I'll tell you what, Chaggers, I've made a note about this. I've never watched Rumpy, and a long winter ahead. Will consider.

I remember watching this when it was on TV, but my fave was allways The Fall & Rise of Reggie Perrin. Golden age of TV, much better than the tripe that is around now that's for sure.

I'm happy to take Rumpole back to the Tundra but can't make plans until this time next week, then aiming for a jaunt to Northumberland (via Lancaster?). Remind me next Sunday.

Haha! You haven't been reading my stuff! We'ze be a stuck in Sowerby Bridge, Rochdale Canal closed just west of Hebden Bridge and to the east at Elland.
5 months gone by and the 'work'men are still yawning and scratching their arses.
But we can go far, In our little motor car...!

Let's see this time next week. Relations to visit this week - whom I shall no doubt, according to mjg, bore to tears with my random nonsense.
That's twice he's used 'random' in the past year - someone buy the man a Thesaurus!!

Update to tie loose end. Rumpole box set bought by me. Will be happy to pass it on after this Winter after I've watched it all.

I hope you enjoy them. It was good to meet you and Mrs Fox, I know you introduce her as the Witch but I cant say that! She was nothing at all like a witch. You, however are exactly as I imagined, surprisingly younger than I expected but you are so very like your postings. Voluble. I appreciated very much your lovely gifts, thank you once more. They are a lovely couple arnt they? made me smile when we had an evening with them. We loved the gifts as well, maybe one day we will have a thunderboat meet up would be fun I think
