Its not in the UK. It could turn up here being sold on by someone around Hampton on the Thames if it sold cheap but for now it seems to be in France. It looks quite a nice little boat but transport to englandland would cost a bit so probably better to market it in France. Or sort out a reliable road transport option and market to the east London cc brigade

There nothing lost by giving that a try, if I can work out how to do that.
Thanks for this suggestion.
Peter.
If you already have Facebook just search for "Narrowboats for sale UK" in the Facebook search bar, then join the group (may take a few hours to be approved) then post the photos and blurb there. OK thanks, I'll give it a try tomorrow, but try to join the group now.
Peter.

Or sort out a reliable road transport option and market to the east London cc brigade In the story I wrote about the boat, I think that I made it clear enough that the boat is based in France, and has the 2018 French VNF vignette that's paid for to allow to navigate their waterways until dec 31th.
So if you write "for now it seems to be in France", that makes it look (to me) like you didn't read what I wrote.
What a possible buyer wants to do with the boat isn't my problem, if they want to ship it over to the UK, then so it will be.
I wrote that the boat is based in France, because many English people like France, and it would be a (fairly) cheap opportunity to explore the French waterways on this little boat, instead of on the overful UK waterways around- and in London.
I know of an English guy who's thinking about buying a boat in the UK, to use it in France, where the mother of his daughters comes from .

I know its in France It was Mrs Tabby's suggesting you put it on narrow boats UK I found odd. That was what my rather flippant remark was based on.

Under other circumstances Peter I would have been interested ..... it was always my plan to cruise the continental waterways (I would have liked to visit Groningen where my family came from) but I am afraid too many years have slipped away.

Well John, there are many things that I would have liked to do too, but I can't keep up with the time that's flying by much faster than I will ever be able to go myself.
There are priorities of things that are more urgent and/or important to do first, and if you would find the time to go on a Continental Waterways cruise, there wouldn't be a real need to buy another boat, as your "Ormelite" could surely be shipped there quite cheaply, and Robert would be your mother's brother.
It's too bad that we're unable to get the many years that have slipped away back, all we can do now is trying to make the best of the years that are left.
I wish you the very best, and success with doing that.
Peter.
