Am I to understand that the gallant Mexicans were victorious. Rog Yes, it's the biggest upset of the tournament so far. Well, until England get beaten by Tunisia tomorrow anyway.

Another unexpected result as relative minnows Switzerland hold the mighty Brazil to a 1-1 draw.

Heathrow have a plane on standby to pick up the England squad. The FA get a discount if they come back within a week.

Ended 2-1 to England, although Tunisia committed two very clear penalties which the referee didn't spot.

Ended 2-1 to England, although Tunisia committed two very clear penalties which the referee didn't spot. And countless knock on's and forward passes

And such very narrow margins between heroic success and sackable abject failure. Redemption lies in victory Rog

They were experimenting with different power plants, Volga cars having fairly primitive engines at the time. It's always fascinating to see places I've been to on TV in a different context. Sadly I never got to Volgagrad which I would have liked to have seen although I have been to Krasnodar, where some of the games are being played, which is only a hundred or so miles away.
