You could weld up the hole. That is the hole with the bow thruster I mean. They can be a liability apparently. Anyway it's cool showing people how clever you are at maneuvering the boat without one (not so cool if one slams another boat though I suppose.

We used Fertan last July - in our water tank, which was then overpainted with bitumen so we can't say if it is really doing anything useful, and around the deckboards/engine room - this has continued to rust so I cannot say Fertan has overwhelmed me. How about just any old 'red oxide' paint? Spray it on?

Dont think it will do words like safe and environmentally friendly arnt words that I would use with any good rust converter. I am with john use fertan agitate it in and when it dries I would waxoil it for good measure works on cars
