I have fitted a little ref leks diesel heater in one of the fleet and my intention is to have it continuously running this winter. Boat will be occupied sporadically.
Its a second hand unit working OK with a yellow flame. It needs cleaning really but I noticed "cleaning tablets" are available.
Does anyone know what they actually contain?
I was just wondering if it's a scam like selling little bottles of paraffin and calling it barbecue lighting fluid.

Sounds iffy to me - a bit like injector cleaner - probably does some slight good but most benefit is in yer head! As with injectors things need cleaning properly if they're grubby...................

Seems likely. I'll probably have to drill the rivets and get the burner pot out for a good cleanup then reinstall with ss pop rivets.
