Saw this today on Amazon, £489.99. Someone with more knowledge than me will know if it might be any good but might be of interest to someone;

Nothing wrong with it as far as I can see. It is reasonably priced but not exceptionally cheap. Have a look at the cost of Kipor generators - there is a 2000w (peak) slightly cheaper and a 2600w (peak) slightly more expensive.

Has the B&S brand been bought by a slimy Indian in order to give credibility to junk equipment ? Strangely, there was a time when Briggs and Stratton was regarded as a very good, reliable long-lived engine. I expect the ones used nowadays are made out of monkey metal and assembled by slitty-eyed rice-eaters.

Its the same old story. Once great companies get sold off and the brand sticks in peoples memories. This is the perfect opportunity for scammers to take profit by trading on the name until people realise its a scam.
It seems to be British and american brands that this happens to. Not german or Japanese brands.

For the greater good and the future of Britain I think someone should start a full blown war and deliberately lose it.
Might help with the population problem as well. Kill all the birds with the same stone !

Crosland filters = Crap-Land filters. Just lumps of cardboard and birds' nests inside.

There are loads of them.
A side effect is the flow of money into the hands of too few people. This is going to result in bad things happening.

This bloke who is somehow a multi billionaire came out a few years ago claiming he wanted to win something with Newcastle. I would usually have not blamed him for any problems that occurred after he started spending money on the club. But now he has decided because we haven’t won anything yet he doesn’t want to spend any more money on Newcastle. He reckons he can’t afford to giving anymore money yet Jabba has recently bought 200 million worth of property! And I wonder where it came from since he hasn’t got that money to spent?"
