Month or so ago I was going through my old power tools and the cordless drill which hadnt been used for years worked as soon as Id charged it. Sadly it didnt hold a charge for more than an hour or so, which is not much cop. If anyone wants a boat drill, connect it direct to the 12v with wires then let me know. If you cover the postage its yours. Its an old Woolworths one so they dont make the batteries to replace any more, Ive looked.

I can include the batteries and charger if it helps? Last chance before it goes on its final journey to the recycling centre (tip)

AMM, that's about as useful as a one-legged man in an ass-kicking competition!

The drill is virtually unused as I bought it and had a few bad years health wise so never used it and now the cells are shot. Seems a shame to just chuck it but it looks like its going that way.

I would think so. We have a '12-month' rule on our boat. If it hasn't been used for the past 12 months, it gets binned!
