The thing is, no-one voted for any kind of 'deal'. Brits have been conned. The only language politicians understand is money and the threat of the noose.

Well said quaysider.
Added to which, whatever her politics she has to tolerate (as do her family) constant offensive drivel attacking her dress sense and general appearance (as admirably demonstrated once again by foxy's 'shotgun' style of scattering idiocy).
I voted remain, as I believed we had already committed to Europe.
But we voted to leave, and that is what we must do.
No one was going to get a 'good' exit deal from the EU ... if we did the rush for the door would be alarming.
I believe the current deal will be rejected by parliament, and then I hope we'll exit without a deal in March.
Politicians should always be scrutinised for their politics, but let's leave the crap out of it.

I think someone ought to throw Cameron under a bus. Or a coach. It doesn't matter as long as it has big wheels.
Teresa May is irrelevant.

I am not having a rant about her I just think the deal is a dangerous one as it stands, so it should not be even voted on. Mrs May should give them a bell and say try better, with a few tweaks this will get through parliament, but as it stands I aint going to waste my time. She also need to start making real plans for a straight leave, the EU would soon take notice of this and know she means business. However Foxy My point is us the punters need to ;et the MPs know what we want, and thats all of us that have a view, because if we dont we risk being s*****d by them as Arnie says "do it do it NOW!" No I know you're not Peter... but my twitter and face-ache feeds are SO full of vitriolic venom, personally attacking the poor woman, it makes me question humanity to an extent... "walk a mile in her shoes" is all I mean... imagine having the worlds eyes on you 24/7 and the pressure of trying to do what's best (rightly or wrongly) in crap circumstances with a fuse that's already lit burning away furiously ... NOT a job I could stomach - I struggle with trying to shop ethically these days and avoid palm oil!

It's true that we voted to leave, we didn't vote for a 'deal'. The problem is that Britain, a once successful nation, has beaten itself up so much over the disposal of its empire, has listened long and hard to the negativity hurled towards it that its people and its politicians have, basically, become a bunch of cowards.

Well perhaps it would be better for a no deal and let Britain find its own way out of this chaos. If that happens it would be good if all parties could sink their differences and work together to create a strong united front

I was thinking, Thunderboat has been a bit slow to get its own Brexit thread, unlike Canalworld which has had one for two and a half years, ever since discussion of Politics was BANNED (that is until Martin and Rabies managed to get it locked - I mean, really, you couldn't make that up, could you??!!)

I reckon the money spinners are busy spinning money and once it comes to crunch time they'll ship the Lady out and go for a second plebiscite resulting in remaining while still spinning the money then watch the plebs devour each other while spinning more and more money.
After which there will be some more money spinning followed by Armageddon.

It should have been an other brexiteer that did the job because their heart would have been in it, where as Mrs May is trying to please both sides of the ravine and if she is unlucky will fall in it!!

I reckon all these efforts by Ms May are a scam. Underneath it all she, the EU and the rest of the socialist/liberal elite (read members of parliament) know that the deal will be rejected. The Tories would do anything to stop the 21st century Marxists getting in (Labour) so that's a general election ruled out. That only leaves a re run of the referendum. The ground has already been cleared for this, with m.p.s of all colours banging on about a 'people's vote'. What a cheap trick this is, reminds me of the Everest double glazing salesman from the 70's trying to convince you his overpriced windows would only cost you an extra packet of fags a week. A pathetic, cheap play on words to try to give the impression that the referendum is somehow different from the last one. Doubtless the EU will get in on the act and provide some kind of 'sweetener', should the good British people vote the 'correct' way this time round.
The vote will be remain. The British government will have betrayed the democratic will of its people. The consequences of this are difficult to predict but they will be dire, I think that's predictable.
