It's inevitable in my view. May's heroic act selling the deal will be rejected, a referendum will be called rather than an election, the EU will step in with some new measures to ensure the 'right' result the next time.
You might expect some people to go out on the streets and start smashing a few things up, but what would that achieve?
Here's my blueprint for post democracy Britain. All it needs is someone with charisma to grab the cause, there are lots of people out there with not too much to lose really. After all, there are always benefits to fall back on eh?
Stage 1. The government. Stop all payments to the government. Stop paying council tax. The self employed to stop their tax and national insurance payments. Do not renew your car tax, gun tax, fishing licence etc. etc.
Stage 2, one week later. Quasi government departments. Stop your BBC direct debits, don't pay your CRT licence fee etc. etc.
Stage 3, a further week later. Private companies carrying out functions traditionally carried out by the government. Board trains and buses without paying. Nobody will stop you, they have to be on time, the inspectors would be overwhelmed.
Emergency courts could be set up on every street corner yet they still wouldn't be able to deal with 10% of the cases that this little lot would bring to the table. Britain would be brought to its knees, it would be a complete shambles.
At the end of the day the government relies largely on trust for society to function. It will have been the party that has betrayed this trust, so it must bear the consequenses.

This is Britain.
There's a reason we've had years of evolution but no true revolution.
The sun will still rise and set, and the majority will just keep on carrying on.
It's what we do.

Ooh - here we go for a bash-up in Trafalgar Square, the Nazi Left (well, anyone who wants Britiain to have its independence back is described as 'Hard Right') are going to have their own march at the same time. "Back the No to Tommy Robinson, No to Brexit March on December the 9th!" "On December 9th, we will rally in Parliament Square. Join us to demand: "Vote down the Brexit deal" (sounds good, giving 39 billion Pounds away to grasping EU bureaucrats sounds like a crime!)"Give the people a final say" (what, again? after that I'd still like a final say! and then another final say a bit later on)"Stop the far right – defend free movement." (and have all those lovely Jihadi beheaders stay at your parents' house in the Cotswolds?)tendancecoatesy.wordpress.com/2018/11/27/back-the-no-to-tommy-robinson-no-to-brexit-march-on-december-the-9th/Anyway, shouldn't the for-Brexit march be straight to the Houses of Parliament when all the politicians are inside, instead of on a Sunday when they're all at home having roast beef Sunday lunches?

When Brexit is reversed we can all breath a sigh of relief. Then introduce ID cards and send home those without jobs, which is what we should/could have done 15 years ago and then we wouldn't have been in this mess.

A question to the people who want a second referendum because they want to stay in the eu. If this does happen do you think Europe will just go okay let's get back to how it was and continue like it didn't happen? No of course they won't, if we go bA k to them with cap in hand "sorry we made a mistake" they will punish us for ever more.

That’s why a hard exit is the only way forward for this country in my view. What we are currently agreeing to is worse than before we started this whole thing. I believe most people who voted out, voted out because they were fed up with this country being controlled by Eurocrats. The current proposal does not change that, neither will staying in. True democracy is dead, and the way this whole thing has been handled by our government proves it. It doesn’t matter how much May hides behind legal weasel words, the public will see through it in a few years.

I think we see through it now! The only language these politicians understand is red hot mooring pins inserted in strategic points.

All I can say is remember the poll tax riots and think of what will happen on a larger scale. A few years ago when I had my business in greater Manchester, the Pakistani community started rioting if you remember, anyway lots of pubs were burnt out, and areas that were previously mostly white very soon were mostly Pakistani! What stopped this continuing, was signs all over the place in Urdu, saying that if any more pubs were burnt out, 5 mosques for every pub would be burnt out in return! Of course the beeb etc wernt allowed to report on this but it happened, and as a lot of mosques are houses Pakistanis soon got the idea that they wernt safe anymore and the riots stopped! The point of this post is that if the people are pushed hard enough they will retaliate and I suspect that point is very nearly here

Are you moving away from eyes in particular and promoting insertion of red hot mooring pins in something else? And how are you proposing to bring these mooring pins to red heat? I suppose if you are talking about knitting needles then its not too challenging but real mooring pins will take a lot of energy to heat up.

The poll tax riots were hardly a revolution.
I'm sure there may be some angry protests in support of both camps, with the odd bit of wanton vandalism thrown in, that happens.
Our one real stab at revolution, when we beheaded the king and set up a peoples government, ended with the king being invited back.
We were so unimpressed we even dug up Cromwells body so we could hang him!
Of course, all things are possible, but I suspect we'll just carry on carrying on.
