And:
"Just the latest stage in the game, these unprincipled bastards are having the time of their lives. It’s what they live for. They love the sound of their own voices and they get paid a lot of money for their plotting and scheming. And what happens to the country in the meantime? Why should they care? Most of them are millionaires, it won’t affect them. Two and a half years ago they asked us to make a decision. We did so. It was their job to get us what we wanted, and look where we are today. Why are we so civilised about it? They’re pissing all over us. It’s a sick version of democracy we have in this country."

I am firmly of the opinion that our leaving could be the death knell for the union. We shouldn't be surprised by their lack of cooperation. But I also agree that there should NEVER have been a referendum on such simplistic terms. Fingers crossed ... if she wins the vote of confidence she'll use the result as a confidence boost ... go back to Brussels and tell them "stuff it". Either the EU will then be less intransigent ... or we walk away. What the hell happened five or so years ago ... we seem to have stepped through the looking glass. Rog 1992 or 1707?

Alternatively remainers maybe smarter than leavers. I don’t think sheep are more intelligent than humans (just more wooly) if that’s where you are going? If you want your life controlled by a suit thousands of miles away who has absolutely no interest in the welfare of you or your family, then good luck, because that is where we were heading. I wish you luck getting more out of the politicians after Brexit.
