I didn't know that this idiocy had progressed to the point that the flim-flamvangelists are claiming that they have actual and regular conversations with God.
I'm just wondering if this has any potential in the muslim religion? I'm not aware of any flim-flamvangelists currently working the muslim crowd, and that makes islam an untapped market of about 1.6 billion people.
Sure, right now islam has a few superjihadists and self-proclaimed grand mufti's, but they are essentially selling mayhem and, if the mass migration from Syria teaches us nothing else, it should teach us that mayhem just doesn't sell all that well among the general public. On the other hand, you are looking at a religion that doesn't have much trouble finding members willing to blow themselves to smithereens, or even just flog themselves bloody. Considering that group dynamic, how hard would it be to convince a few million adherents that they could get a direct line to The Prophet through you.
I'd jump on this opportunity myself, but the red hair and green eyes would probably be a deal breaker.

It was that founder of the Morons (sorry - Mormons) who said: "If you want to make a lot of money, found a religion!"
What is it with you Americans with this Happy-Clappy-absolute-load-of-old-bollocks? How can a nation be so blind?
I do like the cartoon series Family Guy - I bought the box set - yup, watched them all. Spot on with the truth. I thought, at first, it was for kids, but it actually is quite a brilliant series. I especially like the bit where Lois's boobs get bigger and the dog's jaw drops on the table - the timing is 100% perfect. I'll see if I can find it.
I think I have the Family Guy box set here at home - if anybody here would like it, I could bring it over to England this June.
Thank God for Youtube and discerning posters. Here be it:

The worrying thing is the Americans fall for all that crap hence the rise and rise of Evangelism When you write "the Americans" you are including all Americans in your statement, which really makes your statement just another load of crap. Evangelism is a problem here, as are the talibangelicals that evangelism produces. But evangelicals are only about 25% of the population, so blaming all Americans for their shit isn't really fair.

We do it just to annoy you, you know that? I have read that when Brits insult someone it just means they like them, so you're doing OK

We do it just to annoy you, you know that? I wouldn't expect anything less. I just feel it's my civic duty to act annoyed once in a while, otherwise, where's the fun in it for you?
