I remain utterly astounded at how far detached from the reality of life in this country our political classes are. Rog they just don't tealise how pissed off with politicians the general public are. The fact is that the dissatisfaction with the political class is what's lead to brexit. Not only the political class, the ultra rich business class as well - in my opinion.

Yes I agree, if they continue to try and lecture people from their ivory towers there is going to be trouble in this country.

With perfect timing, Father Brown (great daytime comfort TV) had a new episode about Anarchists today. Bearing in mind it is set in the 50s. And apparently Paris was the epicentre. All of which explains the gillet jaunes. And makes me wonder if we arenβt heading for a repeat! We aren't normally viewers of daytime tv,but we do enjoy Father Brown. As you say, comfort viewing.π

Not only the political class, the ultra rich business class as well - in my opinion. I wish you lot would stop moaning and go and find yourself a gullible Prince to ride: The Markle sparkle! Meghan glitters in a Β£3,400 Roland Mouret gown and Diana's bracelet as she joins Harry for a charity performance by Cirque de Soleil at the Royal Albert Hallwww.dailymail.co.uk/femail/article-6599671/Meghan-Markle-joins-Prince-Harry-Royal-Albert-Hall-Cirque-du-Soleil.html
(charity performance, eh? she could have got a frock from a charity shop and given that Β£3,400 to a cats' home.)
Advert at bottom: Make a sparkling statement like the Duchess of Sussex in Roland Mouret, sparkle in style at your next event by clicking (right) to buy her dress or get the look with one of our embellished picks below including Adrianna Papell, Goddiva and French Connection.

Sadly there wont be..The Great British public have lost the will to defend democracy, rather, they will drink some more, complain a lot more and do sweet FA.. Such is our lot....

As Brits say standing in the dole queue whilst immigrants are rushed past them: "Mustn't Grumble".

Are you enjoying the boating, Donkey? Sometimes it's best just to shut out all the News and concentrate on where you are, all the trees and animals and plants and all the nice things. I'm off to the River Nene now (bought the new Pearson's guide). It's 30 hours from Gayton Junction to Peterborough non-stop, when you step back and look at the whole picture.

No i'm not fecking enjoying boating, stuck in a rough part of London (although everyone is friendly and helpful), been without heating for 2 days, boat finally starting to warm up after I made two trips to the nearest garage nearly 2 mile round trip with 6 flights of steps (plus the trip to Screwfix to pick up the Jerry Can, plus the trip to the petrol station that Google hasn't updated that it is now closed), two more trips to garage tomorrow to get myself back on the move. Then still need to deal with battery problems before I wreck the new ones....
And breath....
