Yes I agree, if they continue to try and lecture people from their ivory towers there is going to be trouble in this country. Only when the beer, Pringles and fags run out. As Brits say standing in the dole queue whilst immigrants are rushed past them: "Mustn't Grumble". How long is it since you have actually lived in this country?

No i'm not fecking enjoying boating, stuck in a rough part of London (although everyone is friendly and helpful), been without heating for 2 days, boat finally starting to warm up after I made two trips to the nearest garage nearly 2 mile round trip with 6 flights of steps (plus the trip to Screwfix to pick up the Jerry Can, plus the trip to the petrol station that Google hasn't updated that it is now closed), two more trips to garage tomorrow to get myself back on the move. Then still need to deal with battery problems before I wreck the new ones....
And breath....
Welcome to the reality of lving on a boat. Can I go back to the reality of watching the news please - sometimes it can be a distraction.......

The good thing about brexit so far, is that it's kept the tories busy fighting amongst themselves for over two years. They would have bashed the poor in this country more than they have if they hadn't been otherwise occupied. Ps my advice to you is get out of London.

Sadly there wont be..The Great British public have lost the will to defend democracy, rather, they will drink some more, complain a lot more and do sweet FA.. Such is our lot.... Don't be so sure, maybe you and foxy might not do anything other than moan on the Internet, but don't judge everybody else by your own standards. You know nothing about me, or my standards.. Pleaes keep your presumptions to yourself.

Where was there any mention of a ‘deal’ in the referendum? Who invented that lie?
I think ‘they’ve’ got to Corbyn. A pity really but maybe it will speed up the birth of a new people’s movement,
The BBC ‘state like’ coverage is beyond contempt and should be addressed as soon as common sense starts to prevail.
My prediction :
Anything other than a hard exit will result in the largest public demonstrations we have ever seen in this country. Hopefully peacefull. but I’m sure that’s not what we will see on TV!!!

Welcome to the reality of lving on a boat. Nothing wrong with our batteries / charging system, and we are always warm. First thing I'd demand on a boat is a wood-coal stove. 2 weeks ago is the answer - I was / we were living in England for two weeks at Christmas. Don't forget the week in October, and 10 weeks in Summer.

Are you enjoying the boating, Donkey? Sometimes it's best just to shut out all the News and concentrate on where you are, all the trees and animals and plants and all the nice things. I'm off to the River Nene now (bought the new Pearson's guide). It's 30 hours from Gayton Junction to Peterborough non-stop, when you step back and look at the whole picture. A most unpleasant time of the year to have heating issues. I hope all is resolved soon and your boat warms and you chug out of the 'Bad Big Smoke' Keep going....never give up..it will get better...

When will the clique of rabid quitting tories on here realise that another referendum is democratic, as democratic as the last opinion poll. It can even be made mandatory this time. People would be voting on facts, not quitter battle bus lies or Nige's dog whistle shite about all of Romania coming here etc etc. Its necessary because, while Remainers are united as one, quitters are an indecisive rabble, each shouting "mine is the one true way", a risible sight to behold, no leadership. If this rabble want to quit they can vote for it in another democratic referendum. A question not answered yet by any of the pitchfork and noose faction here, it's simple, yes or no: in a democracy are people able to change their minds, especially when they see the facts laid out before them?

Think he was more of a BSS person than a mechanic - debating whether to chase him up or not - batteries currently being charged using Travelpower now I've got diesel.

So what was the batteries charging issue again? Chase him up and bite the bullet if you want to get a step nearer sorting it out - how long will you be living with this boat? Iron out the problems now, sweeping them under the carpet won't make them really go away. OK, it will.

Will Anna Soubry be arrested for calling Donald Trump a 'dickhead' ?
12:56
She also called him 'ghastly' and 'utterly useless'. Yet she does not like it when people call her a 'Nazi'. What a hypocritical, foul-mouthed old trout!
Benefit scroungers-a-galore in the last couple of minutes. What a shower of uncouth scum. Utterly vile.

Tony Blair thinks there should be a second referendum, and that's all I need to know.

It can even be made mandatory this time. You mean you are obliged to turn up at the polling station or be fined? That would make sense. Close to 100% turnout would make it a more interesting and meaningful result obviously.
