Proboards have a number of rules. I will delete my account. It appears to be neither secure or welcome. Its very odd because the software suggests you have not logged in since March last year. I know people can use other names for display but if you click or tap on a user name it comes up with registered name and display name and details of when online. So yes it does look like you have been hacked. I guess its by facebook (spits on ground and gets voodoo doll) Maybe if you re-register with a different user name then you can change your display name anyway as we know you. Worth a go ?

Amstrad 286 , specialised commercial program. Was the first time ever had hands on a computer, the manual said " to set press {C5}" so I obediently pressed { then C then 5 then } and bugger all happened. Repeated it a dozen times with the same result .... tearing my hair out until someone explained that they meant press ctrl and 5 at the same time. The normal problem with the people that write instruction manuals ... they always assume that you know more than you do. Hence the joke ..... the instructions that you are religiously following say "press any key" ok .... show me one that has any written on it

I see it has been changed again. Some input from the admin would be good, other than altering my account without request. I call bollocks.

Hopefully any potential new members will see this thread and think twice before joining the forum. Maybe they won't believe me, maybe some will. We never know the truth. I await a response from both tge Thunderboat admin and proboards admin. You really should have used the name Bellend from the start .... you totally overplayed a fairly ridiculous hand, to such an extent that only a bellend would be taken in by it Your name wouldn't be Daniel by chance

I still find the "last online march 29 2018" confusing for the registered user "moderator" currently using the display name "bellend". For other users it shows when they last posted. This implies it is someone with fairly high level access to the forum software. It is not a hacking problem Username: moderator Last Online: Mar 29, 2018 at 8:43pm Posts: 18 Registered: Mar 9, 2018 at 6:42pm

How do you know they didn't do them selves? This is true Kris. We’d have to take Deltas word for that and he is the the only person who can confirm whether he (or she) keeps changing their name. That must be visible in the admin tools!

Very irritating feature.
