Let's hope Boeing is going to get sued by all those families who lost their relations in those two crashes, caused chiefly by Boeing wanting to save a few quid for their shareholders. "Hardly a wise cost cut considering the lost income. Confidence in the product is surely supreme in the aviation industry? They have a big job on their hands to restore that." "Why would anyone believe what Boeing says now lol. .P off and take ur plans with u" "Privately built and privately certified, what could go wrong!" "Boeing, EASA and the FAA should all be held accountable for knowingly allowing a plane to fly that they knew beforehand could jeopardize lives under certain circumstances. Hundreds of people lost their lives as a result of greed and ethical compromise." www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-6863667/Investigators-believe-anti-stall-activated-Ethiophia-crash-WSJ.html#comments

I don't like going on aircraft. It's not a fear thing its like dentists I just don't like them. If needed I'm perfectly happy to do it but would not choose to for pleasure.
I've not been on an aircraft since 1987 when I was 13. That was a trip to New Mexico so plane was more or less essential.

The plane to Dallas Was an American Airlines 737 I think and we had first class so it was comfortable enough. Its just the high speed which discombobulates me. 200mph on a train is okay but much faster and I come over a little queer.

Fastest we've seen is 1198 kilometres/hour on our way from Washington DC (Dulles) to Copenhagen with SAS. Coldest we've seen is -78C on the way from Japan to Finland along the coast of Siberia/Arctic Ocean.

You haven't lived until you've done an internal flight in the former USSR on an Aeroflot Tupelov Tu-154. Now, that is scary.

High wing monoplane so great view of what the tyres go through during landing. Most frightening.... small outfit called Quito Airlines in Peru .... DC3 (I think it was their only plane as well) ...... prayed the whole way ... it was older than me

I have very little conscious experience of flying since it became habitual for me. I find I have usually fallen asleep before the plane leaves the ground and don't wake up until it bumps along the runway at the other end.
I reckon I've racked up over 1,000 flights in my short life.
I do recall a few scary moments in Skyvans and Twin Otters in mountainous terrain.
