I wanted to quote you johnv but the endless flow of random characters have put in an appearance when i do.
But what I am saying is in some way much the same as you. I think a (significant) number of those that previously voted remain would now vote leave just to get this whole thing over with and some degree of stability back, along with some political focus back on other issues such as escalating crime.
That is why I think if there was to be another referendum it would probably swing further to leave.
I dont support Farage and his methodology, that i believe is well known, but no one can deny he has a knack of capturing the imagination of 'jo public' in a way most other politicians are failing to do at the moment.

The other thing to add is thats pretty apparent that those parties that oppose Brexit eg Lib Dems and those that oppose it within parties that are split eg Tories are failing to form a united front.
If those defected to a 'Exit from Brexit' party under one unified banner there might be a very muvh closer result than the polls currently are suggesting.

That is why I think if there was to be another referendum it would probably swing further to leave. I think it would. I'm sure countless people who did vote "Remain" in the referendum respect the concept of democracy and are totally embarrassed by the endless attempts of the ruling class to ignore the popular vote. I'm equally sure that numerous "Remain" voters are embarrassed by the "Project Fear" nonsense about cancer drugs becoming unobtainable, 70-mile queues of trucks at Dover, famine, cholera epidemics, plagues of locusts and all of the other tosh.

So we have Euro polling cards for a Euro we r supposedly leaving maybe/sometime/never... Whats the point? Should I vote? Who for? Blimey when they gave women the vote bet no one saw this mess coming..... Decisions...I hate having to decide when in reality I see no point in considering options. However if the collective on here convince me that its a valid and noble thing to do ....I might...then again...

When they gave the peasants a vote, no one saw this coming Might as well vote : the Brexit party will be campaigning and if they don't get strong support, Brexit could well remain stalled through the next general election. Not done the maths, but my gut feeling is that a low poll won't do them any favours. On the other hand, a large cohort of Brexit Party MEPs may well stoke up anti UK feeling in the European parliament, and you may wish to vote so as to prevent this ...

Thinking about it, my "gut feeling" was wrong. Given that Brexit party supporters are probably more likely to vote, a low turnout would help them.

Not like me to quote the tory graph, but a bit of sense for once. “It’s nearly three years since I, along with 17.4 million other Britons, voted for Brexit. Today I have to admit that the Brexit project has gone sour. Brexit has paralysed the system. It has turned Britain into a laughing stock. And it is certain to make us poorer and to lead to lower incomes and lost jobs. We Brexiteers would be wise to acknowledge all this. It’s past time we did. We need to acknowledge, too, that that we will never be forgiven if and when Brexit goes wrong. Future generations will look back at what we did and damn us. So I argue, as a Brexiteer, that we need to take a long deep breath. We need to swallow our pride, and think again.”
Peter Osborne - Former Political Editor of the Daily Telegraph April 2019

"And it is certain to make us poorer and to lead to lower incomes and lost jobs." - on the contrary! It's the cheap Eastern European imported rubbish that has reduced wages and pushed UK citizens out of work. "Future generations will look back at what we did and damn us." - oh dear. Past generations left us with the Second World War, the First World War, the Boar War, Napoleon and his attempted conquest of Europe, the Spanish Armada (Spaniards trying to kill us), the Boer War, the Korean War, the Vietnam War, the Potato Famine in Ireland, little boys up inside chimneys cleaning them whilst Queen Victoria did nothing about their plight, the Turks trying to conquer the whole of Europe, etc, etc. Past generations also left us with railways, canals, the internal combustion engine, television, radio, magnetic resonance machines, electron microscopes, nuclear energy, genetic sequencing, advances in medical techniques, etc, etc. Future generations can sort their own world out.

My prediction...
Turnout 40%, of which...
Brexit party 33% being the largest % for a single party
Other parties 66%
Farage rants that the people have given a clear message that Brexit is the majority opinion (completely ignoring that only 12.5% of potential voters voted for the Brexit party).
You know what the saying is if you dont vote you dont count, i am rather hoping that Nigel gets the majority ov votes that way the remainers cant argue again and again about brexit has to be cancelled...........................

"The UK's parliament needs to be hosed clean. Our freedom and democracy are being destroyed by corrupt politicians. We are custodians of this democracy, not its owners. We have no right to weaken it for future generations, any more than we have the right to leave them poisoned water or air.
The European Union is a model for an anti-democratic global government. The purpose of the EU is to destroy the nation state and to transform Europe from a rich and diverse continent of sovereign nations into a single homogenous political bloc governed by a committee of unelected bureaucrats who think they know best. And they think we’re so docile and thick that we’ll just roll over and accept it if they keep telling us how sensible it is.
Nobody’s feelings were consulted during the making of this video. Anyone who has a problem with that can drop dead."
