I was confused by the original picture saying Andrew and then bfg saying Andy.
Andy Fordham? Is he the dart player?
Maybe we have a celebrity on a boat.

People seem to be getting fascinated by what the guides say, rather forgetting the issue at hand. That is that a boat that has regularly navigated through a lock is stuck in said lock now that "repair" work has been carried out by the navigation authority. So what it says in any of the guides has no bearing on the issue. From what we've heard so far, what concerns me is how cart are quick to blame the boater, equally as baffling is how quick some people on here where to second that opinion without all of the facts.

Is that toggenberg?
That's a replica dutch barge not an old one. I must say from the photo in the OP I did assume it was an old dutch barge.
Was for sale down this way (uxbridge) quite recently.

Just goes to show how wrong yu can be, if you base your assumptions on what you see and read on the Internet.

www.devizesmarina.com/boats.php?id=119Marked as sold. I still think its more likely to be a gate or fender problem personally. Nothing to do with reading anything on the internet. I wonder if that tyre is still there

I based my assumption on it having what appear to be original dutch anchor winches at the front which is actually quite unusual on replicas.

It does seem like a nice boat its been for sale in different places regularly. Appears to be something about it which causes problems I wonder if it is the beam.

It always concerns me in an advert like that when they don't show photos of the engine room. I suppose most people if they are going to spend £85000 on a boat wouldn't want to do so much work. I wonder what the lister generator is (a noisy air cooled maybe?)
