I wonder how many of those that perished would have survived if all those selfish passengers who stopped to get their hand luggage from the overhead lockers had just legged it out of the plane as quickly as possible and not stopped to grab stuff which can be replaced Phil

This model crashed on its first ever demo flight.............that was perhaps a clue.

I used to travel on Aeroflot back in the days when Ukrainian peasants would take baskets of tomatoes and onions aboard to sell in Moscow and still show a profit after paying the air fare. On some flights you could hardly move for market garden produce.

You really are a sick bas***d aren't you ? I must admit, I really can't understand this at all. I've met Andy a couple of times, not briefly but on both occasions for several hours, and he didn't strike me as being objectionable at all. He obviously has demons, and it is unfortunate that he has chosen you to be the target for his venom, and it is particularly baffling that his posts exceed by far the usual insults which are generally just "internet banter". He truly is a very inadequate, bitter and spiteful individual and I would certainly never give him the time of day ever again.

although I don't often put people on "ignore" I have to become very fed up with the poster to do so, as generally people whose opinions may be diametrically opposed to me have worthwhile things to say. I had put Jude on ignore shortly after his disgusting post to you, so I had to go over this thread to find out what had happened.
I am afraid someone who can make post such as his, has something seriously wrong with them and they are not someone I wish to have anything to do with.

It certainly goes well beyond the usual rough and tumble on Thunderboat to glory in the death of another member's pet. Andy is obviously very seriously disturbed. I haven't put him on "ignore" but pretty much everyone has made it clear that they would rather he left the Thunderboat community permanently so perhaps he could act on that?

I helped him traverse the regents section of the grand union canal recently. Spent several hours on his boat and even had some of the scumbag's beer. Never again. Not if you paid me. Eta to be fair I could deal with the free beer.

I think that anyone identified as taking their luggage with them should be charge with manslaughter

I'll keep the forum updated as to where I am, it will probably be a week or two before I get to the Anderton Lift because of the restrictions at Bridge 20 which is next open on Friday afternoon, and then I'll probably spend some time on the Northwich Visitor Moorings, Northwich being a lovely friendly town. Maybe see you there but if not the Salty Dog is the best pub in Northwich. salty-dog.co.uk/
