Help!

Just received this on one of my Facebook groups. Can anyone suggest somewhere?
"I urgently need to find a marina for my friend's 58' narrowboat, following his sudden death yesterday. I need somewhere south of Fradley Junction (where the Coventry Canal joins the Trent & Mersey Canal - I don't know this area at all) and where there may be some room. If anyone can recommend anywhere I would be most grateful. THANKS FOR ALL YOUR HELP AND ADVICE AND OFFERS OF HELP."

I suppose the obvious first place to look at is Streethay Wharf.

We stopped at Streethay 4 years ago to buy this & that from their shop - yes, quite friendly.
ps - we are 'in that area' going past Fradley in 4 - 4.5 weeks' time, might be able to help out somehow.

I haven't been on the Coventry since the year dot so I can't help with South of Fradley, but just about 5 miles northeast there is Barton Turns on the T&M

I think Patty read that as being Jenlyns freind. Either way it’s a fellow boater having problems so it’s nice that Patty cares along with other boaters.
So no, it’s not rubbish.

www.canalmarinas.com/King Orchard is near to Streethay, but Fazeley Mill may be a good choice too with very easy public transport access. Hope they get somewhere sorted. Rog

Thanks for all the responses. I only know both guys from the fb group, have never met either of them. I don't know the area he is looking at well, so it was best to ask some of you that probably would. Much appreciate your replies, thankyou again.

This is the great thing about this site by now the other channel would be off topic and ripping each other to pieces!! However here people have provided real info based on visits and with luck have helped someone in their hour of need Well done Steve
