I'm glad you see that people should pay for the changes they want. Now about this Brexit business, oh and Scunthorpe steelworks, I'll bet quitlings are rejoicing that their evil plan is succeeding. Can't really see what Brexit has to do with this Jim? Brexit can be brought into any discussion given time....

In the US - postal workers shot dead by a work colleague. Ages ago, but 'going postal' means going bonkers and wreaking your revenge. Going postal is an American English slangphrase referring to becoming extremely and uncontrollably angry, often to the point of violence, and usually in a workplace environment. The expression derives from a series of incidents from 1986 onward in which United States Postal Service (USPS) workers shot and killed managers, fellow workers, and members of the police or general public in acts of mass murder. Between 1970 and 1997, more than 40 people were killed by current or former employees in at least 20 incidents of workplace rage. Between 1986 and 2011, workplace shootings happened at roughly two per year, with an average of 12 people killed per year. en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Going_postal

Your selection of reading matter is slightly worrying. Have you thought about trying Murder in the Willows, or Winnie the Chain Saw Slayer. Much more calming and therapeutic Rog I have worked with some not-so-savoury types in the past, most of whom I would just have a laugh at if I heard something really awful had happened to them. I try not to think of these people any more, as they were (and probably still are) disgusting, vile, obnoxious and odious - and all at the same time. However, I can't think of any of my current co-workers or bosses I don't like, I'm lucky to have fallen in with this crowd. And I suppose, of course, they are more than lucky to have got me!!

Thanks for sharing John, that is horrific and will definately effect the number of historic boats kept afloat and living for future generations to enjoy. Similar to carts "tax" of wider boats I'm sure it will lead to a reduction in the number of larger commercial boats kept floating. You hope that it's unforeseen consequences of these changes, but you never can be quite sure.
