But once a month we rename it. Normally we copy the network name of one of the neighbours, so every now and again they will struggle to connect to the wrong one.

Its really easy, if your phone is android (not apple or microsoft) look under settings/wireless & networks/more/tethering and mobile hotspot. If it isn't android I wouldn't know but it will be similar.
The advantage: no wires needed and more than one device can connect to the interweb simultaneously. NB strong password required.
You'll see that you can name the hotspot anything you like. Any nearby wireless-enabled device will be able to see it, thus you may choose to call it 'I can hear you having sex' or 'BBC Licensing Enforcement' (for example). The possibilities are endless.

As I've just renewed I'll update this post, I got an unlimited data deal from 3 for £22 a month on a two-year contract. This replaced the previous £18 per month for 40 GB deal. They sent me a brand-new router which I installed and re-named today in my traditional if somewhat puerile fashion.

I get 825GB a month via the new satellite internet system provided by Evangeline. Works anywhere in the world. So does she.
A pound a month. Bargain. For both of them.

That's a belting deal Mr Stabby ... we're with Three and currently using a Huawei mifi providing 20gb per month for £15. Been thinking of seeking a new, better deal once businesses open up (We've had this deal two years). I did wonder what a Yorkie chomping, prostitute murdering, knife wielding single man could POSSIBLY want access to unlimited data for ... then I remembered your need to keep up with latest 'gentlemens' hair product' developments. Rog

No need for that Grandad, but I do watch a lot of women's sporting events on YouTube and also frequently need to research home remedies for lower arm sprains and similar injuries.
