Hang on if u don't like the folding bed bench settee thingy why are u considering putting it in your boat? Have I missed something? It'll either fit....or it won't

I wonder if anyone will know. "Pivit" Have I missed something. When did you get a boat? If so congrats. Not looked it up but Pivit seems like Ikea crap or Lidl. Either of those and it would probably fit through the hopper top of the window never mind the doors

When we first moved aboard we were told about the 50cm rule, simply provided one dimension did not exceed 50cm it would fit on the boat albeit you may have to take out a window. This stood me in good stead over the years, often having to feed stuff in through the window,washing machines, cookers etc etc. I nearly came unstuck just once with a Smev cooker which in fact had a little sticky out bit which did not figure in the dimensions given. Got it through the window OK into the saloon but failed to get through the door to the galley, no problem, took off the door, still wouldn't go so praying really hard I took out the door frame and phew! It just went in. Phil
