............. innit the case that good old anglo-saxon white boys have to take an appropriate name before they are admitted to a drugs gang? Absolutely old chap. My gang name for the E14 slums is Abdullah bin Rayda. Names are allocated like the "dances with wolves" thing. I am good at finding useful equipment in domestic waste disposal containers.

this thread was about knife crimes, not automatic weapons en.wikipedia.org/wiki/M16_riflejust a point of interest, I worked in an office just off the Vauxhall embankment in the 90's and had to walk past 'Vauxhall Castle' every day - the home of the SIS. never saw Bond or M. our office was in an office complex that was later completely taken over by the NCA (at that time known as NCIS). ................ oh, and one day I was menaced by a young schoolboy in a chip shop located close to the office. he was handling an open knife and begging for free chips from me and from the Vietnamese chippy lady. nasty little bugger. we both ignored the little shit and eventually he got bored and went away. not a nice part of London. ............... I wouldn't risk going back to that chip shop these days.

MI6 HQ is in south Oxfordshire. The London thing is a diversion tactic and helps with anonymity.

MI6 HQ is in south Oxfordshire. The London thing is a diversion tactic and helps with anonymity. I believe that they are actually based in the remaining cooling towers at Didcot - these are due for demolition shortly, but because the Secret (Un)Intelligence Service is so secret, no-one has informed the demolition contractors who are due to mobilise soon, and no-one has informed MI6 because they cannot be contacted - their phone number is secret (i.e. ex-directory), although I believe that is the case only because the girl on the front desk forgot to tell anyone.

I think Basildon Bond came out of the Dickinson paper mills at Apsley originally. A canal link as the coal would have been brought by boat. Apsley is near Hemel Hempstead Grand Union. The old mills are gone just housing now and Sainsbury.
