In my travels I have accidentally stumbled across a nice pair of oars signed by the master irritator himself. JW Lennon.
Turns out he was a keen rower and liked his oars.
The back story is that they were transferred down south when someone bought a narrow boat up in Liverpool and (obviously) got it down to London asap. Like you do. The oars were interior decoration. Screwed to the T&G lining in the bed'ole. I went on the boat for socialising and said "I've been looking for a nice pair of oars for my bedroom" so owner took my beer offer and unscrewed the oars for me to take away. 7ft 4 inches long with leathers rather than plastic collars. Laminated not single plank otherwise I would keep them.
It was only when I got back to my boat and screwed the oars to my own bed'ole cabin side the other way around Imagine my surprise they are only signed by the man himself ! Instant Karma. Bad Karma so I turned them back round.
Obviously I am looking at the fan clubs for a sale but its quite tricky dealing with idiots so am willing to consider offers here for plain unsigned oars.
If anyone can deal with celebrity shit then you are welcome to the profits which may be gained by once again exposing the signatures.

Mr Stabby has an inflatable oar. Probably as valuable as Monica Lewinski's frock, for similar reasons.

I've been approached by someone who said "that's a nice pair of oars you got there sir" in a Somerset accent while I was out in the dinghy with the kids. I had to tell them (in a Somerset accent) "thems ain't oars thems me dorters".
Anyway. I was offered a good price for them so they are now gone.
Offer closed.
