Attention bodger and @someboater A nice lady delivered this to work today It works fine. Any idea on a prop for it? I'm guessing it's donkeys years old! The prop is serviceable, be nice to have a spare seeing as children will be lose at the controls 🙈👍

I would buy a cheapy minnkota replacement prop on ebay and see if it fits, return if it doesn't.
try a 2 blade 9" prop.

that doesn't look like the original prop. It has been on an 8' Sniper before - pushes it along well! I'll give your idea a go after this weekend, be rude to take it to bits instead of playing with it this weekend 👍

I'd stick an APC glow engine rc plane prop on it. Try 9x6. Hub will need drilling and a groove filing fr the drive pin. RC props hate weed so if you have weed issues go with Bodger's suggestion. In clean water they are great. I used a graupner 10x8 on the minn kota on the floating electric beer drinking platform and an APC 9x6 on my inboard drive elected kayak. All good stuff. RC props are cheap as chips compared with the kota things. Nice outboard by the way

that doesn't look like the original prop. Looks like a normal outboard prop which would quite likely result in overload and brush holder damage. If it works its ok though !

Stop gap till they can pull start an outboard unassisted 👍

RC prop is easy enough to try out. Probably a 3/8 drive shaft so drill prop hub and file groove for pin. Will make the battery last longer in clean water and also makes boat easier to row with motor down as prop is much less draggy. .

bodger and @someboater - thanks for your replies, food for thought. naughtyfox will no doubt be pleased to see it came out of the land of the free rather than the land of the dragon.

Is that a food mixer ? Rog As said earlier, stop gap until the kids can pull start an Infernal Combustion Engine. I wouldn't want peterboat getting the wrong idea and think I'd been converted to supposed zero emissions motive power 🤔🙈
