treble points if you catch a car like that Didn't someone manage that recently up near liverpool, must of wanted those bonus points Did it once at Fool's Nook on the Macclesfield, motorist sped through the first barrier, screeched to a halt on the bridge when the second barrier came down, I ignored him and carried on motoring the bridge round. Big red face in the windscreen as he pirouetted past me.

when using my yoghurt pot, I nose up to the bridge and climb over the side, taking a line with me and tying it to the handrail. Open the bridge, pull the boat through with the line. close the bridge and climb back on board the boat. This was when I was just a youngster in my 60's ........ now ........ I would probably wait for someone ditto, on the K&A. same with lifting bridges on the Mon and Brec. There is one where there is nowhere to land on the operating side of the bridge, apart from someone's garden overgrown with nettles and brambles on the south side and just a mass of shrub and undergrowth on the north side, I had to struggle around the narrow lip of the bridge foundation to move the boat through. there is also a motorised lift bridge, it would be entertaining to catch a car on the rise and see how far it would rise before the car slipped back. Reminiscent of Tower Bridge.
