Colin and Shaun are both nice guys as Rog says...they used to walk past my mooring most days in Wakefield whilst the boat was being built. I do worry they'll "burn out" though as it takes a lot of time and effort to produce all the footage they do - even their twitter feed some days has me exhausted.
OK there IS a little bit of the green-eyed-monster writing this as their boat is gorgeous and not home-made like "Ellis". I sincerely hope they enjoy their new life and don't overwhelm themselves with the PR.
That said, by the looks of things, even if it is totally consuming, it's clearly still better than being a bus-driver (for Shaun) and Personal Trainer (Collin)...
Good luck to them both.

You get the idea from their vlogs that Colin really NEEDS the focus of the work involved, whereas Shaun appears much more laid back and at ease. They make very entertaining vids that's for sure, and it'll be a pleasure to meet up one day and tell them personally (maybe not for them ) Anyway quaysider ... good to see you here again. Rog

I've made it to Uppermill - the guests due this week had to cancel (another bereavement) - seriously, everyone vaguely connected to me at the moment has the grim reaper lurking... and I moved up to Diggle for a few days out of the shade before I go back down on Friday to collect the next guest... THEN it's tunnel on Monday and an amble down to Huddersfield. Hope the river plays nicely or we could end up in Hudds for a while lol.

I'm hoping for an early Indian summer with fair winds, sun shining sorta days... Bit different from last time... However will ensure thermals packed as u can never be too sure. Its time the wheels of fate turned and things improve for you.

They appear a lovely couple of blokes thebfgWe enjoy their vlogs ... been watching them since before the boat was launched. Warts and all, they cover their experiences afloat. We also enjoy Robbie Cummings vlogs on nb Naughty Lass ... a natural entertainer. We met him this year and he is a good bloke. Rog

Hopefully will be on the boat tomorrow, heading for Wakefield. There was a stoppage on lock 12, east of our boat, which would have stopped us. Apparently just a tail gate Cill with trapped rubbish. I must make myself a proper long keb, that would have been all that's needed to clear it. I do have a hand forged muck rake on a 6ft handle, ok for clearing some things but not for anything heavy.
