Not really a nonsense because they know the judges are all Remainers (ie. their friends). you couldn't make it up - the Daily Fail referring to the marginal referendum result involving a limited proportion of the electorate as 'the overwhelming verdict of the the British public'. Actually only 37% of those eligible to vote voted in favour of Brexit, so it is a downright lie. But they are quitlings, they follow their great leader and lie at every opportunity. Just heard it on the radio "the vast majority voted to leave". Ffs the thick twat can't even add up, well, up to 20 maybe, then he has to borrow digits.

Wha'eva. The salient point is that it was a lie. An even bigger lie is being propagated at the moment, Boris claims to be negotiating a deal, is he fuck, he's just whistling for time while we crash out. The other lie being propagated here is that the 52% of those who voted, voted for No Deal. What was offered was "the best deal ever". When this was doubted and questioned we were told it was Project Fear. Turns out we were right in so many ways. project fear was also 99% bullshit. both sides lied in their teeth ....... anyone who wholeheartedly believes what a politician says is soft in the head. Face it, in or out is going to make very little difference to ordinary people .... life will go on just the same. It's the big multinationals who will feel the pinch more than anyone else and yes there might be an economic downturn ..... but there probably would be one anyway, there are signs of it all over the EU at the moment (just go and investigate falling living standards in Germany for a starter) Britain's economy was growing not because of the EU ..... but in spite of it The battle bus was believed by quitlings, staunch British remainers, many more of whom have degrees, saw through it and loudly said so. I heard Boris repeatedly backing it on the news. (of course staunch remainers saw that his mouth was open and so doubted it). Lies like this led to the tiny majority to leave.

Here's another bus advert. Jim doesn't believe a word of it. Only quitlings believe what is written on buses.

I have nothing to say, and know nothing about Brexit. The only thing I want to say is that I always have the impression watching a medieval theatre act with all these silly wick wearing people. Can they only decide what's right or wrong dressed up like that ? Peter.

Which of the facts are you disputing? The battle bus was believed by Brexiteers, More remainers have degrees than brexiteers. Lies like this led to the brexit victory. while the numbers who believed the first fact is debatable, that some will have done isn't. Certainly Boris repeatedly claimed it was true many times, as did other leading quitlings. The second fact isn't debatable, it's just a fact, plain and simple, widely publicised. It seems to be a habit these days to label any facts which don't fit your world view as "fake news". Some would claim 1 + 1 = 3 if they thought it supported their case, but it's just wrong.

I was never asked which way I voted or what educational qualifications I possess and I have never met anyone who has been questioned. So how is it a fact Jim ? It seems to me that clowns are fairly gullible. What you mean is, it is a statement you have read and are happy to accept as fact. I believe brexiteers think for themselves, with or without degrees ... and I was a remainer. I don't believe anyone thinks that leaving the EU was EVER going to be a painless transition. I believe they merely recognised that the short term pain would prove worthwhile in the long term. And the absolute truth is that NO ONE KNOWS what will happen ... just speculates for good or bad. Rog

However, when I came to vote I did put my faith in the Politicians that some sort of sensible deal would be worked out - in hindsight I think I may have been hoodwinked...
Even on the way to the polling station I wasn't sure if I would change my mind about voting leave (I didn't) - but given a new vote I'd certainly be more circumspect in my trust about politicians being able to work out a sensible deal.
