Well as Andyberg like jenlyn's post I'm happy to erase my comments Im just glad theres a couple of posters on these boards with the relevent technical ability and internet access to postup horrible pictures of deformed animals, continual unoriginal claptrap or yesterdays bile Β news for the rest of us, who are unable to access the internet for ourselves, to keep abreast of βgoing onsβ in the world! πππ Yes that's what I was getting at in my since deleted post If people want some real info I could try to use my magnetically masculine personality (and boat) to persuade the MI6 admin girl I have been keeping an eye on to allow access to some of the real bad shit images that the SIS use for training. You do NOT want to see these. It takes weeks of debriefing. Sometimes months. But that might be too shocking so maybe I should not bother with it.

The thread is about Chernobyl and that's all about exposing the world to harmful radiation, radiation which can be the cause of deformities in life forms - so why would nemesis's pictures be 'off topic' ? I also think it is a bit of a cheek for a TB member to make a boo-boo here, run off tail between legs, then make a re-appearance three months later under a different name and start slagging off members who have happily been carrying on in his absence.

The point you need to take on board is that some are getting pissed off with your stupid behaviour. Your constant pointless drivel on every single thread is repetitive.Β You set out purposefully to wreck every thread, and frankly, you need to either grow a pair, or do one. I'm not particularly interested in which choice you make, just hurry up and sort it. You made it up as you went along, I just did your job and added "bile and spite". ππππ Hoist by your own petard. π

Natural phenomena. The area around pripyat is slowly getting back to normal. I suppose they are examples of what mutant animals look like.

All of the pictures I posted were of animals which have suffered a genetic mutation in the near-vicinity of Chernobyl. There is no evidence that wildlife local to Chernobyl is suffering a greater incidence of cancer because no study has been undertaken. The wildlife population has increased because there is no competition from human activity. This is, in one sense, 'returning to normal'.

the biggest source of radioactive contamination from Chernobyl in the larger surrounding area was from Caesium
the half life of caesium isotopes is about 30 years .... the accident was in 1985
so returning to "normal" is fair

Not sure I'm following whats going on.... Seems like Jenlyn has deleted some of his posts. It's about time Jenlyn (aka 'bedruthan') and kris realised that just because some of us make light-hearted quips, that does not mean we have our own serious views on how the canals/inland waterways should be run. It is likely that most of our parents and ancestors have contributed in some way to the whole system - do their efforts and paid taxes count for nothing?

After 30 years there's still 50% left! After 60 years there's 25% left, and so on. When Chernobyl had its meltdown Lapland reindeer farmers were compensated generously as radioactive Caesium was reckoned to be on the soil of northern Finland for something like 15,000 years. However, looks like they took their compo and are still flogging 'polluted reindeer meat' as the sales of it have never stopped. Who knows the truth of the matter? Anyway, where's the compensation from the Russians, eh??!!

I deleted the posts because the thread did not deserve going so far off topic. Some of us are capable of being sensible, you are not. I'd go so far as to say I think it's wholly possible that you have a form of OCD. This is clearly something you should seek help for.
