Having said that if you look at the diagram then once you extend in order to place the weight somewhere else like on top of a boat for example the 10kg starts to look a lot more sensible Depending on the height of the bank it is fairly likely the top of the boat will be between elbow and shoulder height for a normal canal boat on a normal canal. In which case my 12.75kg estimate of ideal weight works quite nicely for a man lifting. Those diagrams don’t match my observations of most of the thunderboaters. Knuckle height should be much lower... That diagram looks like a couple of Thai 'lady boys' to me!

My sisters teeth were messed up by a dodgy dentist.. Mine aren't brilliant but they r better than hers..I have loads of fillings and 5 caps but at least they all remain in my mouth at night. Middle sons were wrecked by his decision not to clean them for years and prolonged cannabis use. He goes to Poland where this guy has worked miracles transforming a decaying disgusting mass into really rather good looking teeth...however there is still years of work to be done but at a fraction of the cost.

I don't need a dentist as my teeth are actually pretty good. It's dentist interference which caused the one and only problem I have ever had with teeth. Firstly a filling when I was a teenager then it dropped out 15 years later then 5 years later a broken tooth then I got an extraction where he hit the blood vessel followed by loosing about a pint of blood or more and getting pneumonia unable to breathe almost dead with pleurisy eventually saved by the penicillin. All this* because of a useless dentist who was putting fillings in kids with perfectly good teeth just so he could buy a bigger car. Nothing to do with being afraid of dentists just dislike opportunistic scumbags with no morals. Rant over. *Plus doctors are a waste of time (giggle) www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-7745149/Brushing-teeth-three-times-day-lower-risk-heart-failure.html

Yes. A study rigged by dentists. Another one. There will be others. Nah! When my daughter had a dodgy atrial valve she had to have antibiotics before any dental work, cos your blood goes direct to your heart from there and can cause serious problems. When the nasty dentist hurt you, I bet you had booked your appointment at the wrong time. If you went at half past two, it was a bad move.

He wasn't nasty and didn't hurt me at all. Just rushed the job and failed to take proper account of the blood vessel which he punctured leading to me spitting mouthfuls of blood into the fire for 24hrs and making the bed look like a scene from a horror film.
The appointment was at 2.25.

*Plus doctors are a waste of time (giggle) That's good to know. I've just tried to make my first GP appointment in nearly 30 years - any time in the next couple of months, please, I asked …. The receptionist was emphatic - "no" - you can only make an appointment on the day. You must phone at 8am (and stay on the phone all day when we prioritise all our regulars and then we will still say no). Oh well, I've managed this long - don't expect I'll be around looking for another appointment in another 30 years time ….. met x
