Whilst following the rugby with avid interest, I'm afraid I just can't take this thread remotely seriously. Can you at least change your avatar when you post on this thread, PLEASE, Rog? It's most disconcerting seeing Mr Stabby-Shadrack following/commenting on the games.... Ta ever so muchly in anticipation. Yours hopefully met x

The game could be moved to another ground (played without a crowd) or cancelled due to the typhoon (if cancelled it is recorded as a nil nil draw).
A press conference to announce the decision will take place at 4am tomorrow.
If Sundays's Scotland v Japan match is cancelled and recorded as a scoreless draw, Scotland will be out of the competition !

Well it's true today, the England game is cancelled and two points awarded to each team (nil nil draw).
A consequence of hosting a sports tournament in Japan during typhoon season.
I would have preferred to see the game played at a different venue without a crowd, but it is what it is.
Looks like two weeks off then a quarter final against Australia.

Just when I finally geared up to watch one.

No mention in the news of what happens to the tickets the fans have paid for.
Do they even get a refund??

All tickets fully refunded ... but of course that doesn't help with accommodation and travel costs. Makes World Rugby (the organisers) look slightly ridiculous but safety HAS to come first ... it is what it is Rog

2 weeks without hoofball? That would be great. Unfortunately there seem to be other games on in the meantime.
