Our last boat was named Foxy. It was an omen.

"Grumble and Grunt", something which would mean very little to those not born within the sound of Bow bells. Berk. Grumbler.

Did you cover the signwriting with emulsion? Noooo. ββTwas back in the good old days before I knew of the man of the Fox from Finland. Gosh those days were so happy... Now every time you think of your old boat you will think of me. I'm touched.

I have said before we change the wifi name to things like this. Anyone who searches for wifi gets a shock or a laugh. One of the things I'd like to do is change the wifi code at our bar to 'I've told you once'. But the staff are good people ....

I have said before we change the wifi name to things like this. Anyone who searches for wifi gets a shock or a laugh. I put a phone hotspot up last time I was on a crowded TGV train in france. It was called "Putain! Mais Putain!" Did get a funny look from a fellow passenger and a little titter from another one. It's quite amusing. When the kids use the tablet I tether them onto my phone (so I can deny their connection at will) with it called "bollocks" that always gives them a laugh. They are quite little 7 and 9 but know that it's ok to call someone a cunt if they actually are a cunt but that it is frowned upon and quite rude. This could seem a bit bad but it's education at the end of the day. Real life. I would not call a WiFi network "cunt" as it does offend some people.

Those big vaults that were under the bank too.

That must be annoying.
The only place I got into before demolition (years ago) was Kingston Power station. That was quite impressive. A coal plant that was virtually unused. Was opposite the house I lived in 1986-1994. We got in early 90s. They demolished it in about 1995.
Just two of us no cameras or anything larking about.
Never done any of that sort of thing since but it is quite appealing !
ETA boat related detail the reason there is a 650ft long lock at Teddington was for coal supply to Kingston power station.

I worked in industry all my working life. 30 plus years but I canβt stand that word. Itβs the only word that I find offensive. Odd isnβt it.
