Like the new avatar @someboater ... properly good looking boat. Andyberg how does an ugly sod like you have such gorgeous daughters ? Telemachus I've not previously been aware of Mr Edwards art work but love the colours and architectural themes. Who'd have thought you'd have such good taste ... must be that proper schooling. Rog

Rog I did go to a proper school but was always hopeless at art. Jeff on the other hand, has an artistic gene from his father. So unfortunately I can’t claim any credit for discovering the artist’s work or proposing it for our boat, but I do like it.

I wonder if there was some sort of communication problem and she had thought that the holiday was not purely about boating. A healthy young free and single good looking bloke on a boat. With a furrin woman. Hmm. There could be some assumptions specially with the regular shower visits written into the t&c. quaysider - She must have been gutted when she realised you are queer People keep giving me the pityfull, "aww..., the poor ginger fella bought a wife" look.... hmmmf

Anyway Jeff had a work colleague - female doctor, single lady from Singapore. She was very nice but also very quiet and reserved, never really talked about personal things even to Jeff, with whom she was pretty pally. Perhaps it is just the Singapore culture? They are quite a different thing from the Malaysians just over the Straits, the Thais, the Indonesians etc.

Underneath the somewhat reserved veneer they are much like other girls from the region: cock-happy.

Well I had my interview a while ago. I dont like interview/assessments as I struggle even though in theory I should be fine. It's all about telling the right story.
Today I had my second part, I had to complete a store walk and feed back about customer experience and community. And external factors and opportunities.
Thats the bit I am strong about.
Well I found out I passed but the interview was borderline.
Oh well a pass is a pass just got to negotiate an extra 1k on what they are offering for salary.
I have been doing the job for 2 months I think in full expectation that I would easily pass.

Whereas this is about.... something, I suppose.

Could Brumhaus be a play on Bauhaus? Nah. Did Bauhaus pop out of the ether fully formed? Hmm. Buy a book on the subject. I guarantee that you will be embiggened to some degree. Personally I prefer classical art. Those cats were sure of themselves.

Those cats were sure of themselves. Yes I could buy a book on it. But not that interested in the whys, wherefores and developmental paths. I just like the look of Brumhaus (which yes, even I know is a crib from Bauhaus). In the same way that I can admire a pretty flower without needing to know how it evolved. Not that I look in the mirror that often
