I reckon the majority of them tell some lies. As long as the lie doesnβt effect the general public I donβt get upset over it.

Another tory gone for "alleged" lying. πππππ I fear the biggest lie we have to endure at the moment is that of the now dysfunctional labour party. Once a standard bearer for the working class, labour has swerved to a marxist anti semitic movement filled with hatred and abusive behaviour. The antics of their mp's in the house a few weeks back showed an unprecedented amount of hate, spite, and aggression. Your own sometimes churlish remarks on this forum are an indicator of this marxist problem that is attempting to get elected. The UK does not deserve the suffering your chosen party intends to impose.

Tom Watson not standing as well, wonder if it has anything to do with being a remainer in a leave constituent area? Also it looked like his constituents were going to give him his p45! as a reward for shafting them right royally by trying his utmost to stop Brexit, looks like a lot of Labour MPs might redundant in just over a month

Iβm losing track now, who has the most MPs that will not be standing this time around? Iβm guessing the tories..

Same old same old with new faces for the troops to confuse the electorate into believing that this time it will somehow be different.

she is rightly serving her time for it. Albeit in her self interest, the lie wasn't about trying to fool us voters though. Boris has been up before the beak for lying though. He knew the right handshake obviously. As many of you allege, there are some bent tory judges around. How many ex or serving tory mps have dissed Boris btw? Too many to count.

Same old same old with new faces for the troops to confuse the electorate into believing that this time it will somehow be different. I see your point, but can't help thinking that this has come about from having a lazy and or uninspired electorate. Perhaps we only have ourselves to blame? Although politics has jumped to the fore with the enormous power of social media, some still seem to avoid taking an intuitive approach in choosing an mp to represent them.

Are you still afloat ianali ... or back home slowly sinking in a sea of strong alcohol and weak politics ? Rog Floating along still. As for alcohol I/we have surprised ourselves and are drinking considerably less than prior to stoptober. Think Iβve had maybe half a bottle of wine and 5 pints in November so far. This is half what was normal. Itβs not a conscious decision, just seems my body has become used to less. My waistline is thinner, my wallet fatter.
