I reckon the engine problem occurred before boat was removed from water. It's the starter motor innit.

Something doesn't add up. @gazza alluded to it earlier. 6 months isn't enough time to seize and engine up properly unless something odd has happened.

Just an update, still seized. Bigger problem has arisen, pumped old eng oil out, unfortunately it wasn’t oil, it was water, about a bucket full. I’ve a feeling this has been done deliberately as there is no way in for that amount of water, unless it has been sunk which it hasn’t. Back on it tomorrow to take heads off. Thanks again Tony for advise.

I’ve a feeling this has been done deliberately as there is no way in for that amount of water, unless it has been sunk which it hasn’t. Back on it tomorrow to take heads off. Thanks again Tony for advise. Bugger! that didn’t criss my mind at all - well not after we talked about the exhaust. curious how that got in there... 🕵️♀️🤔

Well no, for the water to get to air intake level and there is a low cut out in engine/ cabin bulkhead, it would have sunk. I suspect foul play.
