Well crikey you are right. My bad. I bet you say 'train station' when you mean 'railway station'. of course it's a train station. Train stations are where trains stop Railway is the bits of metal the trains run on and sitting on that would be uncomfortable and dangerous, especially when a train comes into the train station

..I'm packed, ready to go and i have this inner dread I will not be away long before the crises that is bubbling boils over and i am recalled. I'll keep my fingers crossed that your global wanderings (or maybe wonderings ) ....... remain uninterrupted thank you John... At Brum now, eldest son has given me 'the talk'...I'm to stay away when I go and not to worry

Train stations are where trains stop which is why the guard calls them station stops. ................................ what do they call a station that isn't a station stop though? .... a station non-stop perhaps?

I am of course talking about the absolute abortions of spelling and grammar known as Americanisms.
So to start with:
– It’s not percentile, it’s percentage
– It’s not burglarize, it’s burgle
What’s the deal with putting a completely unnecessary Y at the end of words?
– It’s not normalcy, it’s normality
– It’s not equivalency, it’s equivalence
– It’s not relevency, it’s relevence
Also:
– It’s not worrysome, it’s worrying

I had enormous fun with a Chinese student and ‘parallelogram’ once. Try it if you get the chance.

Has MJG really removed himself from the forum? That would be a big surprise, I believe the caravan forums are moderated, and I wonder how he gets through his evenings without conflict. Having said that, he came across as being quite nice a week or two ago but when I pointed this out, he reverted back to his previous character.
