We love hogs we built a hedgehog house in her parents garden and had a family live there for years. They would come right up to the patio door to feed. Stroking them was weird.
Now they moved we don't see any at their new home but next door has foxes and badgers living in the garden so they come out at night.
So will follow this with interest. Good luck.
P.s you can buy specialist food.

We have in the past, rented a cottage on a farm near Cirencester in the 'Golden Valley' where (if you put food out at night in the rear garden) wildlife visit regularly. Magical place at which we would sit up watching ... on several occasions we had badgers, foxes, and mice feeding together. The only squabbles and fights we saw were between foxes ... I suppose the food took precedence mostly Rog ETA Jane loves owls and has been known to play a recording of owls in the open to encourage owls to approach. Bollington aqueduct was the last place and we drew a tawny owl near in response.

I remember barn owls flying low over fields somewhere on the Nene years ago. There were some owl boxes put in by fusiasts and it was really successful. Not barns just wooden boxes on posts. I think were barn owls. Big.
I would not have wanted to be a mouse but the owls were quite impressive.

Finnish owls postage stamps. That's the old money, Finnish Marks (1 Euro = 5.95 FMK)

We stood out watching a barn owl quartering fields just outside Burscough (Liverpool side before the pub and swing bridge) back in 2017. Fabulous views and a real privilege Rog

Don't see any now

Well so far so good, BFG, yeah we got hedgehog food but a big Wilko store had sold out, Sainsbury the same story but a little pet shop came up trumps. I shall weigh him again on Sunday and hopefully he will have put some weight on, we'll see. Phil
