Those who believe that employees should get a decent salary for a decent input, with acceptable conditions in both their working contracts and their workplaces. Looks like you're not one of them.

It is very shocking that people born in other countries would be allowed to do things like bus driving.
These sorts of things should be stamped out.

Finnair now cancelled 300 flights. Postal strike to go on until 22nd December. Ferries/ships stood in harbours. Buses in the Helsinki region not running tomorrow. The Finnish government has their hands in this, as the Post Office is still state owned.
Interesting days ahead!

Is your foreign national job safe then or is it Finnish-ed? Do you not feel a sense of guilt? Still, it keeps you out of the UK, shame you still can post crap on here from there though.
Truely, Finland? Who gives a shit, why don't they leave the EU then they would have real problems with foreigners? This is the problem with nationalised industries, they hold a gun to the heads of governments. Should be banned.
That General Strike pops up everywhere, he caused loads of grief in the UK in the 30s. Must be really old now.

Partially. Plane to Cebu late into Manilla, my 5 star hotel is holding dinner but its gone dark. Its 31 degrees. Still, you do piss me off regularly anyway. You always have since day one.

Now you will lie awake in bed thinking of me.
Who would have thought my influence extended to the Phillipines!

Slept like a baby in the 9ft wide bed after a splendid dinner and free unlimited beer.
Foxy who? He's miles away and out of my thoughts. Bet he is colder than we are! Is it daylight yet in Finland or is that April?

The Philippines, possibly the only place on earth where it's virtually impossible to do anything without being pestered by prostitutes. Stop for a Macdonalds in Manila? expect a stream of girls to walk past eyeing you up before one of them gains the courage to sit opposite you, waiting for you to make the first move. Fancy a look at the brown hills of Mohol? expect scantily clad girls to line the route, even though it's in the middle of nowhere. Go to Palawan, a nice island, before tourists invaded it like locusts and expect to be offered sex while you're gawping at the huge monitor lizards. My best advice for a chap in the Philippines: Rock up on your own at LA Café in Manila and order a 'sharing bucket' of slightly over priced beer. Before you know it there will be a choice of girls vying for your attention, often offering to 'protect' you from the many prostitutes in the place. Simply share a bucket or two, make your choice, it's free. If a bloke can't pull there he can't pull anywhere.

Is it daylight yet in Finland or is that April? What are you doing in the Philippines? Sunset here is around 1430... and sunrise is around 0915. It's all dark and gloomy but I like that kind of thing, being cosy in a warm bus; we have Webastos and everything. And at home we just have T-shirts on as the stove, triple-glazed windows and properly insulated well-built house (none of your Persimmon rubbish!) ensures the house isn't cold, unlike you Brits with the condensation streaming down the single pane windows onto the rotten bottom edges. twitter.com/homes_persimmon

Yes, I did wonder why samsam went to the Philippines. But perhaps he is just touring the Youth Hostels there, collecting the stamps in his card.

You are all going to the wrong places in the 'pines. Don't go where the sad old men go to get laid, Angeles, Manilla, Clark. Manilla is a no-no, too many people. Palawan was the final frontier, getting busier.
Negros is beautiful, miles of sugar cane fields, The islands, all 7070 of them are fascinating. We stay in some stunning places. Check out Sugar Beach, Sipalay and The Clara beach on Guimaras. Some wonderful hotels, eye up the Maayo in Cebu.
Solved the girls problem, take your own with you.
Been doing this trip every winter for 14 years, not tired of it yet.
